Was enjoying the unit until STEPR tried to do a software update. The update does not work and the STEPR is not usable until the company gets the update glitch fixed. Company expects a fix this week or next.
Only had the product about 1 month. Seems to be very good except for this SW problem. Would give it a 5 except for that.

Overall the Stepr Pro is without doubt my most used gym equipment. We feel rejuvenated after using it. My only issue is that at the conclusion of all the workouts I get error code. I have tried troubleshooting but still unable to resolve the issue. I have attached a photo. If you can help resolve we would appreciate it.

ordered the wrong stair master and it didn't fit in the room - paid $1k for the new one to be delivered and set up and when the guy got here to set it up he asked for help setting it up - so I paid for a service and still had to put it together. when using the stairmaster it isn't smooth either it makes a loud noise - something in the base isn't clicking correctly and that piece came directly from the company

I sincerely apologize for the multiple issues you've experienced with your STEPR PRO delivery and setup. You're absolutely right - when you pay for professional setup service, you shouldn't have to assist with the assembly yourself. That's unacceptable.
The noise issue you're describing is also not normal for the STEPR PRO and needs to be addressed immediately. A properly functioning unit should operate smoothly without loud clicking sounds from the base.
I see we arranged for a qualified technician to come out and properly diagnose the noise issue and he found the STEPR was missing two snap rings at the stair rods. Those parts delivered to the tech on Friday August 8th. The technician will be reaching out to schedule the service appointment. Thank you so much for your patience!

I've had this device for a few weeks now and love it. We use it almost every day. It's an excellent workout, better than elliptical, treadmill, rowing machine, or bike for getting heart rate up. It did take a while to ship to my house, around a month or so and there are no updates. I tried emailing the company but they never responded and I just got a text from an unknown number that something was being delivered. The communication is definitely not good. For a machine as heavy as it is, it wasn't too difficult to get it into the house. It is a 2 person or more job, but there are wheels so it slides along pretty well. The machine feels sturdy and the speed settings are varied, I haven't needed to go anywhere near the max speed. I think it's an excellent device for anybody who realizes how great stairmasters are without paying for an industrial grade one. I got the version without the large touchscreen, and I'm glad I did as online other people indicate that it is error prone. The machine's other functions work well, it charges my phone and it reads my heart rate monitor using bluetooth to display my heart rate right on the monitor. I can't comment on any of the classes or entertainment options as I just titrate speed based on heart rate.
